Love This App!

I miss the old name Couch to 5K. Thats what attracted me to it in the first place. I was a couch potato and had never been a distance runner. But I wanted to get exercising and wanted to try jogging. This app did it for me! I absolutely love the interval approach. It made jogging accessible for me. Now that I can do a 5K, I like the distance feature. The mapping with the in app GPS purchase was a great addition. I could go on. But simply stated: I love this app!

I can run again!

I just completed week 8 and easily making 3.1 miles. I would love to see a heart rate monitor feature added to this app.

DrQuilter

This app used to work well 2yrs ago. Now GPS tracks map, but does not give feedback on distance or pace. Tech support only recommends resetting phone, which I did but problem persists. Going w Nike app. Shame, really, I liked this one.

Bug fixed!

Update: 5 stars again. They fix the crash and now I can run again to infinity and beyond. Dont install in 3GS. Just opens the quits right away. Have informed the developer. Will revisit rating if they issue a fix. My go-to running app now rendered useless in latest update :(

Great app!

Works great and the developer is helpful with problems.

$$$ :(

The first time I downloaded this app, it was totally free. I deleted it and downloaded it again and now they want me to pay a subscription! Not cool.

Music use

App used to be great but now cannot change music while workout is going...stops & makes you restart then doesnt pick up tracking mileage & even freezes up. Not easy to use while running at all! Hoping for a fix soon! Using iPhone 6 w/ ios8.02

Great app!!

I downloaded this app a few years ago. I started it a couple of times, but never finished. I tried it again this past summer and finally had success!! By the end of the program, I was only up to 2.5 miles in 30 minutes, so I would gradually go more each day until I made it to 3.1! This program has definitely turned me into a run addict! I even ran 6.2 miles the other day!!!! I highly recommend this app. My advice is to take it slow, and dont let one bad day or even week discourage you. If you dont feel like you are ready to move on to the next week, then dont. Give that week another try, then re-evaluate again. Just dont sell yourself short!!! Believe me when I say you are far more capable than you think you are!!! This is coming from a girl who used to DESPISE running. So much so that I would be "sick" in high school on the days I knew we had to run 2 miles at practice. Now I run 2 miles on my "short run" days! I also HIGHLY recommend that you invest in running shoes. My New Balances werent quite cutting it, so I went to a local running store and they suggested a pair of Brooks shoes. Wow what a difference! I also recommend a good sports bra for those of us that are blessed up top.

Simple, fun and easy to use.

Great program to get in shape or back in shape. Highly recommend.

New update

Worked well prior to latest update. Now the map, distance, and therefore times are all screwed up. :(

Easy to use, great app

Very easy to use, clear audio while listening to your own playlist. I am just getting into running and I love this app! Keeps me motivated.

Starting Volume!!

I love the app, but Im hoping the developers will adjust the app so that the starting music volume is not at the MAX level when you begin your workout! Kills my ears EVERY time! Other than that, the app is great!

Problems

Having issues with the audio alerts. They dont play when wearing headphones. They do play without headphones. Ive tried changing settings around to no avail. Im at a loss to what is wrong. Is it user error or a problem with the app? I was able to use this app with my iPhone 4 with no issues, but now with the iPhone 6, its not working. with no issues, but

Great app!

Absolutely love the app! Can play your own music, adjust voice cue volume, Easy enough to follow but challenging enough to get you running.

It Works!

Well designed app to get you into shape.

current version is jacked

I used this app for a long time and really liked it, but the newest version is broken on my 5s. It wont properly show graphs and can freeze up when changing playlists while working out. Bugs happen sure, but it has been months since they last updated, while I see other running apps get timely updates when there are problems. Until this gets updated I cant rate it well.

music turns off after alert

there are several issues with this app. First, it turns off the music after providing an interval alert. That means after each change you have to manually turn the music back on. Second, the app does not provide an alert unless the is showing on the screen (meaning you can lock the phone). Finally, I am having the same issus ctphillips4 in that the volume is super loud at the start. very disappointed

Not so good

At first this app worked great, a few years ago. It has stopped working properly. It doesnt record any of my runs when Im finished, it freezes at random times and stops playing the music! Whats the deal!?

Issues with journal

App crashes every time I try to bring up the graph feature in the journal. Please fix it.

Love of my life

I absolutely love this app. Ive used it three times now to get into shape for a 5k, from start to finish. For someone who could never run further than a minute without dropping dead before trying this app, I really appreciate the accountability aspect and feel it lives up to its name, "Ease Into 5k". Being able to log my miles and see my progress as I not only am able to run further and longer now but also am getting faster. I love this app and recommend it at an annoying rate to all my friends.
